Story Lineup
Its Ram Gopal Verma’s remake of Ramesh Sippy’s “SHOLAY”. Characters have changed, look has changed, somewhat storylineup is also changed, It’s more urbanised this time, but still many things are similar in this film. Legend song “Mehbooba Mehbooba” is again on stands through this movie.
Story is all about Babban(Amitabh Bacchan) a cruel Gangster in Mumbai. Main Emphasis is on the particular character as it was on “Gabbar” in “Sholay”. He is cruel, silent, never goes into conversation with anyone, he likes to play with his victim. Ramu has given a very dangerous and cruel look to the character of Babban. Babban is the Don of underworld and far more devious than any gangster the city has ever known.
Ajay Devgan and Prashant Raj are playing the main lead as Jay and Veeru played in Sholay. They have come from small city to the dream city Mumbai with lots of desires to fulfill. There names in the film are Heero and Raj. Childhood friends, their loyalty is absolute, with the younger Raj looking up to the elder Heero.
Mohanlal is portrayed as Thakur who have sleepless nights and only will to catch Babban. He has played inspector Narsimha, an encounter specialist and desperately behind Babban.
Sushmita as Radha and her character is quiet and life full of tragedy.
Nisha Kothari is in the character of Basanti driving auto in Mumbai and knows all the shortcuts of the city. She loves her auto as Basanti loves her Dhanno. Name of the ricksaw in the film is been given “Laila”.
How with the help of these two young men, Inspector Narsimha takes his revenge from the Babban is how story goes.
Movie Review
Ram Gopal Verma Ki Aag is going to get released at 31 August of this month. This movie and its name has created a enthusiasm among the people to watch it and comapare it to the previous Sholay. Much cannot be talked about the movie untill and unless it does not get relesed but seems it will be getting a big opening. The later performance may depend upon the movie but opening will be good for sure.
Music Review
Music of Ram Gopal Verma ki Aag is very much similar to the “Sholay”. Remake of Mehbooba Mehbooba is also a point of attraction in the movie. Urmila has danced well in the movie and tried to regain her identity as better dancer then Helen. She is looking hot in the movie. Songs are not very soothing yet ok ok kind so, overall music can be prooved as average. Ramu has introduced a Holi song also in his aag.
Ram Gopal Verma ki Aag Ringtone Review
As mehbooba song is all time favourite its always good as a ringtone but due to its average music ringtones of Ramu Ki Aag cant be suggested to download.
